The trainings we offer as JPIC-AFRICA always leave our youth very motivated to give back to the society. The evidence of this is shown by these youths from Rwanda whom after undergoing a training on PEACE BUILDING AND ACTIVE NON VIOLENCE in Nairobi went back to their country and formed a ‘CLUB OF PEACE’, where youths are seen as key actors in peace building and conflict management. With their brilliant ideas these youths are faced with the challenge of implementing their activity plans due to financial constrain. We are therefore appealing to our friends, and followers of this blog to help as in helping these youths to achieve their dreams.
Here below is their plan of action and the financial budget needed to fully implement the plan.
WORKSHOP ON PEACE BUILDING AND
ACTIVE NON VIOLENCE
We are the Rwandan group, After arriving back to our country, we sat
together and thought about what to do in order to make in practice the
knowledge we got from the training that we had at Nairobi in October 2010, on
the theme: YOUTH, ACTIVE NON VIOLENCE AND HUMAN RIGHTS ADVOCACY. Then, we decided to work together,
till now this our situation of activities:
1.
We formed a club of youth called ‘CLUB OF PEACE’, we have 70 youth members
2. The club has the
working committee headed by Gustave NDAGIJIMANA
3. Members are both
students and working youth
4. We planed to
train the youth on peace building and active non violence
5.
We are helped by our Priest Brother Philippe NTAWUHIGANAYO.
Below is our
project plan of the training of youth, that we are requesting the OFFICE OF
JUSTICE AND INTEGRITY OF CREATION FRANCISCAN AFRICA to fund us so that we may
train the youth.
We don’t have any
financial means, so, we are relying on you the office to help us.
This is
our proposed workshop:
